Our Down Hall venue offers a fantastic setting for padel with flexible hours, easy access, and quality facilities. Whether you’re new to padel or a seasoned player, this venue makes it easy to enjoy the game in a beautiful location.
Down Hall Hotel & Spa is one of England’s most established country house hotels.
You can find it in Hatfield Heath, very close to Bishop’s Stortford on the Hertfordshire and Essex border, it is just 45 minutes from central London and also ideally located close to Stansted Airport.
Not only padel is available! In the luxurious Eden Spa you can relax the body, soothe the soul and lift the spirit during your stay at Down Hall Hotel.

Opening Hours
The courts at Down Hall are open seven days a week for extended hours:
- Monday – Sunday: 8:00 – 22:00
This schedule allows you to play padel at a time that suits you best, whether it’s early in the morning or later in the evening.
Court Pricing
Play at Down Hall is available on a pay-and-play basis with simple, flat-rate pricing:
- Off Peak: £16 per hour
- Peak: £20 per hour
Equipment Hire
Need rackets and balls? You can collect equipment from the hotel reception when you arrive for your booking. Just speak to reception, and they’ll assist with everything you need.
Parking
Parking at Down Hall is convenient and free! The hotel’s parking lot is available for all players, ensuring a stress-free arrival experience.
Coaching
Please note that we do not currently offer coaching at the Down Hall venue. If you’re interested in coaching, be sure to explore our nearby Padel United venues, where training options are available.
Membership
Down Hall operates on a pay-and-play basis, so no membership is needed. Everyone is welcome to book and enjoy the courts at this location.
