Upgraded courts and new seating are on the way to enhance your padel experience.
We are thrilled to announce that PDL Padel United Plymouth, located on the beautiful campus of Marjon University, is about to undergo some exciting upgrades! As the first and only dedicated padel club on a university campus in the UK, we’re committed to providing a top-notch playing experience for all our members and visitors.
What’s Happening?
Next month, we’ll be making some much-needed improvements to our fantastic outdoor venue, which features three doubles courts and one single court. Here’s what you can look forward to:
- New Court Carpets: The current court surfaces will be replaced with brand-new, high-quality carpets to enhance your playing experience. Expect improved grip, smoother play, and courts that feel as good as they look!
- Extra Seating: We’ll be adding additional seating around the venue, making it even easier to relax, spectate, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of our padel community.
Key Dates to Remember
- Start Date: Work begins on February 17th, with teams working hard to complete the upgrades as quickly as possible.
- Reopening Date: Weather permitting, we aim to have the venue ready for action again by Saturday, February 22nd.
We understand that this short closure might be an inconvenience for some, but these improvements are all part of our commitment to making PDL Padel United Plymouth the best it can be.
Why Upgrade?
As the sport of padel continues to grow, we’re dedicated to staying ahead of the curve by investing in our facilities. These upgrades will not only enhance the playing experience but also make the venue more enjoyable for players and spectators alike. Whether you’re a regular member, a student at Marjon University, or new to the sport, these changes are designed to ensure PDL Padel United Plymouth remains a hub for padel enthusiasts.
