Exciting news for sports lovers and fitness fans in and around the Stansted area—Padel United UK is bringing two brand-new padel courts to Mountfitchet Romeera Leisure Centre, launching as early as August 2025.
Whether you’ve never heard of padel before or you’re already a fan, this is your chance to get involved with a sport that’s fast-paced, social, and growing across the UK and Europe.
What is Padel?
Padel is a racquet sport that blends elements of tennis and squash. Played in doubles on an enclosed court, it is easy to learn, fun to play, and accessible for people of all ages and skill levels. Because of its compact court and bounce-friendly walls, rallies tend to last longer, creating an engaging experience even for beginners.

Padel United UK is committed to making padel accessible to everyone. That means:
