We’re delighted to confirm that groundworks have officially started at PDL Padel United Erith. This marks an important milestone in our UK expansion, with Erith becoming our 12th venue and home to our 39th and 40th padel courts in operation.
The new club will strengthen access to affordable, high-quality padel in South London and is the first of four London sites launching this year.
PDL Padel United Erith: A New Hub for South London Padel
The new venue is being built at Erith Leisure Centre, bringing modern padel facilities into an established community sports setting. This location has been carefully chosen to support local players, attract new audiences to the sport and provide accessible padel for players of all ages and abilities.
Erith represents a key step in our South London strategy, helping to meet growing demand for padel while continuing our commitment to affordability, inclusivity and strong community roots.
London Expansion Gathers Pace
Erith is the first of four new London venues planned for this year. Additional sites in Redbridge, Willesden and Bexleyheath are already in development, with further announcements coming soon. Together, these clubs will significantly expand padel access across the capital and support the continued growth of the sport in the UK.
What Players Can Expect at PDL Padel United Erith
The Erith club will feature two brand-new padel courts built to PDL standards, offering a high-quality playing experience for social players, competitive players and newcomers alike. As with all PDL venues, the focus will be on accessible pricing, easy booking and a welcoming environment that encourages people to play more often.
Memberships, Booking and Playtomic Access
Full details on memberships, pricing and opening dates will be announced soon. Once live, the Erith venue will be available to book via Playtomic, making it simple for players to reserve courts, join sessions and start playing from day one.
Building Community Through Padel
Each new PDL venue is about more than courts. Our goal is to create local hubs where people connect through sport, stay active and become part of a growing padel community. Erith will play an important role in bringing padel to more players across South London, from first-timers to experienced competitors.
What’s Next
As construction progresses, we’ll be sharing regular updates on build milestones, opening timelines and opportunities to get involved early. With multiple London sites launching this year, it’s an exciting time for padel players across the capital.
