We are proud to support the University of Plymouth Womens padel team as they compete in the NUPL (National University Padel League), the UK’s premier student padel competition.
Representing the University of Plymouth are:
- Pair 1: Tanaya Lai & Liv Vickers
- Pair 2: Xavianne Howman & Izzie Rowen

All four players have developed a strong passion for Padel during their time at university, with both Xavianne and Izzie also taking on the role of Padel Secretary within the club committee.
The team regularly trains at Padel United Plymouth, just a short drive from campus, alongside attending their weekly university sessions. With additional structured training sessions at the club, their hard work and commitment are already paying off. Having won the UK Padel University Championships, they head into finals day with strong momentum and an excellent chance of success.
Both pairs have finished in the top three teams in the South Western League, with Tanaya and Liv going unbeaten — definitely a pair to watch.
Finals day will take place on Wednesday 15th April at Rocket Padel, where the team will face the top competitors from the Midlands, South East, and Northern leagues.
We wish all the girls the very best of luck — go smash it on court!
