We have described padel as ‘the most popular sport you have never heard of’. Not everyone has even heard of the game as its relatively new to the UK, but we already have over 1000 players in Essex alone. The rapid growth in the popularity of the game, both here in the UK and worldwide, means that as more and more people play the game and usually get addicted to the sport, they tell their friends and family and so more people have at least heard of the game. But how to describe it? Famously ‘tennis with walls!’ and ‘half like squash half like tennis’ have both been used, but both fail to convey the poetry and beauty of the game.

A lot of other people would also like to see what the fun game they have played before looks like when played to a high, competitive level by skilled players – so now here is your chance!

Come and see the exhibition match we have arranged as part of our open day to launch the latest premium facility to open in the UK in Chelmsford! See Padel played to a very high standard and witness what promises to be a very competitive game between two rival pairs.

Details of the open day are here.

With over 1500 players and a utilization increase of over 170%, the Plymouth venue demonstrates the region’s enthusiasm for padel.
