Having launched the company back in 2017 and successfully establishing our inaugural padel venue in 2019, we solidified an impressive presence in Essex. Subsequently, I directed the exciting majority acquisition of the company by the esteemed international market leaders, Pádel United.

Following this significant milestone, we embarked on one of the most rapid expansions witnessed in the U.K. to date. Presently, our network encompasses clubs spanning across the Southeast, London, as well as the south and North-west regions.

My journey with PDL Padel United began in 2019 when I commenced coaching after emerging from the youth setup.

Since then, I’ve traversed through various roles within the company, culminating in my current position as operations director for the South East, where I hold oversight over all venues in the region.

It fills me with immense pride to witness our dominance as market leaders in the South East, a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team.

I am particularly excited about the forthcoming openings of our new venues, which I believe will further solidify our position and expand our footprint in the region.

I’m Miles Bromilow, serving as one of the operations directors at Padel United UK. Tasked with the vital responsibility of managing the day-to-day operations across several of our venues, my primary objective is to ensure that every aspect of our facilities offers an unparalleled experience for both players and visitors alike. My journey with Padel United UK commenced when I assumed the roles of club manager and coach at our Plymouth venue while pursuing my degree in International Business. Since then, our clubs have witnessed exponential growth and success, and we eagerly anticipate furthering our mission of providing exceptional Padel venues throughout the nation.

Sally has been appointed as the new Regional Manager for Devon, bringing extensive tennis experience and leadership skills, including her role as Chairman of the University of Plymouth Tennis Club. Recently certified as a BPCA Padel Coach, she joins at a time of rapid growth for padel in Devon and the South West. Her appointment reflects the region’s increasing enthusiasm for padel, and her energy and expertise will be key in expanding access and participation across the area.

Gary Mallard leads all marketing, social media, and web services for the company, driving growth in the exciting world of padel.

He oversees the full digital strategy.

Passionate about the sport’s rapid rise, Gary ensures more players discover the courts, join the fun, and make our venues the ultimate padel destination in the UK.

Sue brings a wealth of experience to her role as a gym manager, boasting a remarkable tenure of over 15 years within the industry, predominantly at Nuffield Health. Her ascent from part-time bar staff to deputy manager is a testament to her dedication and expertise.

Since joining PDL Padel United UK, Sue has proven to be an invaluable asset, playing a pivotal role in enhancing our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Under her guidance, we’ve witnessed a notable 9% increase in venue utilisation, a testament to her exceptional leadership and strategic insight.

Zak blends a solid marketing background with real passion for racket sports and community building. With a degree in Marketing and Management and years on the court, he brings both smart strategy and genuine padel know-how to the club.

He leads marketing and promotion for events, sessions, and community initiatives—showing off everything that makes Padel United such a lively, welcoming place to play. Recently, Zak also started coaching, so he now works hands-on with players, helping them improve while growing the club on and off the court.

Ben Welsford has joined Padel United UK as Operations Assistant after years of growth within the company.

Bill stands as a stalwart figure within the realm of tennis coaching, boasting extensive experience and a longstanding tenure at Port Sunlight Tennis Club. Serving as a cornerstone of the local community, Bill’s influence transcends the confines of the court, as evidenced by his pivotal role in establishing the inaugural Padel club on the Wirral.

With his unwavering dedication and profound impact, Bill epitomizes the heart and soul of the community, leaving an indelible mark on all those he encounters.

Meet Paul, our dedicated padel coach and community lead at Torquay Padel.

Paul runs two fantastic weekly mix-in sessions in Torquay, creating a warm, inclusive space where players of every level can drop in, make friends, and enjoy balanced, enjoyable games. He expertly designs fair match formats that pair players by ability — delivering comfortable rallies for beginners and tougher challenges to help everyone improve.

Always on-site, Paul is your go-to for questions, group organisation, smooth session flow, and support at our tournaments and events. His welcoming energy turns every visit into a highlight.
