Essex padel fans, get ready for even more court time!
PDL Padel United is adding a dedicated singles court at its popular Stansted venue — Mountfitchet Romeera Leisure Centre (Forest Hall Road, Stansted Mountfitchet, CM24 8TZ).
Works start in late June 2026, with the new court opening for bookings in the first week of July alongside the existing two panoramic outdoor doubles courts.
“We’re incredibly proud of this fantastic venue, delivered in partnership with 1Life and the brilliant team at Stansted Mountfitchet Romeera Leisure Centre.
We can’t wait to welcome players onto the new court soon!”Rich Hall Smith – MD PDL Padel United
Why this matters for Essex players
The Stansted site (opened 2025) is already a favourite for players across Essex, Hertfordshire and beyond. Central location, free parking, changing rooms, café and equipment hire on site.
A singles court means:
- Faster, more technical rallies
- Easier last-minute bookings (just one other player needed)
- Great skill development for all levels
