Attention Saffron Walden Padel Fans and Across Essex!
Lord Butler Fitness & Leisure Centre is actively exploring the addition of a padel court – and they’re turning to the local community to show there’s real demand before moving forward.
This is your chance to help make it happen.
The centre is explicitly asking for comments to demonstrate strong local interest. If you’d love to play padel right here in Saffron Walden – whether you’re brand new to the sport, coming from tennis, or already obsessed with it – your quick support makes a genuine difference.
It literally takes under 60 seconds:
- Click this direct link: https://publicaccess.uttlesford.gov.uk/…/applicationDet…
- Log in (or register quickly if you don’t have an account)
- Select ‘Make a Comment’
- Word it as you wish – make it your own – the key is to keep it positive, short and personal. Every supportive comment helps!
That’s all. Every single comment counts and helps prove padel belongs here.
Let’s turn Saffron Walden into the next padel hub in Essex.
Why padel? It’s one of the fastest-growing sports in the UK because it’s social, low-impact, accessible for all ages and skill levels, and seriously addictive once you try it.
A court at Lord Butler would be perfect for casual games with friends, family sessions, fitness classes, junior coaching, and even corporate team-building bookings.
Your voice really can tip the scales. Comment today – let’s get those glass walls up!
Thanks for being part of the Padel United UK community. See you on court soon (hopefully at Lord Butler!)
