What is padel?
Padel is a sport which combines action with fun and social interaction. It’s a great sport for players of all ages and skills, as it is both quick and easy to pick up. Most players get the basics within the first half an hour of playing so that they can enjoy the game. Padel is not as dominated by strength, technique and serve as it happens in Tennis and therefore is an ideal game for men, women and youth to compete together. An important skill is match-craft, as points are won rather by strategy than by sheer strength and power.

Why Padel?
The sport of padel tennis which is one of the fastest growing in the world would be a great addition for all hotels and holiday resorts! Padel is one of the easiest racket sports in the world and the key word when describing padel is ‘participation’, anyone in your family can have a game from a 6-year old to an 86-year-old. A short 5-10-minute intro on the basic rules and you’re good to go, building rallies and enjoying the sport become instant for a unique both physically and mentally beneficial exercise.
Padel tennis can sit perfectly alongside golf and this is demonstrated across Europe with many golf clubs choosing to add padel to their club. Not only will it add another dimension to the golf club, but it’ll provide a more family inclusive activity for the whole family to play whilst other family members may play golf. Padel is an extremely social sport and when marketed correctly like golf means players will often stay for drinks and food before and after play meaning not only are you benefitting from secondary spend but you’re enhancing the club spirit.

Court Dimensions
A Padel court is 20 meters long and 10 meters wide with the back walls being made of glass up to a height of 3 meters, whereas the glass side walls end after 4 meters. The walls can be made of glass or another solid, even material like concrete. The rest of the court is closed using a metallic mesh to a height of 4 meters. At the middle of the playing field there is a net dividing the court in two. It has a maximum height of 88 cm in the centre, raising to 92 cm at both sides. These fields are than divided in the middle by a line and another line three meters from the back wall marks the service area.

Additional Revenue?
We will fund the entire project and work on a ‘lease’ or ‘revenue share agreement’ with the existing venues! If we had the option to add multiple courts this would allow for extra events, tournaments, coaching programmes which can also double up as extra advertising and secondary spend for the existing facility not to mention advertising something to the whole community regardless of age, social inclusive or social demographic padel is a unique way to give something to all members of society
How can we help?
We can fully fund ALL projects, with extensive experience and over 30 venues across Europe we are the perfect partner to transform your club. From planning consent, groundworks and court construction we will fully fund the project and your venue could become a part of the Padel United family!
We are looking for locations with extra land, redundant space or maybe even old facilities that are currently unused, if you have any of these options or anything else you think could be suitable, please get in touch and we can start planning the project!
