We had a fantastic day at Padel United UK Maldon Padel Club and welcomed the BBC East Sports team to the centre.

They were there to see how Padel has exploded across Essex and the surrounding counties since the first club opened just a few years ago, and about how the popularity of padel has grown exponentially across the UK and Europe.

We were happy to let them know about the new centres coming soon as we rollout across the UK!

Thanks to all the padel united players and padel panthers who were there, and spoke to the BBC sports team and we were very happy to hear about how the younger players are enjoying the game.

AT PADEL UNITED WE ARE LOOKING TO EXPAND TO ALL PARTS OF THE UK.

London, Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham & Bristol are our prime targets – but we invite all applications.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR POTENTIAL PREMISES, THAT COULD BE LANDSPACE OR AN EXISTING LARGE BUILDING.

3 large scale successful applications from round one are already entering the formal planning stage and we hope to be starting construction in the very near future.

Miles Bromilow writes: Padel United’s success in Plymouth sets the stage for an exciting expansion into Torbay this Summer, signaling the sport’s growing popularity in Devon. With over 1500 players and a utilization increase of over 170%, the Plymouth venue demonstrates the region’s enthusiasm for padel. As Padel United continues to foster community engagement and eyes further expansion into Exeter and Cornwall, Devonians can anticipate even more opportunities to enjoy the fast-paced action of padel.
