At Padel United UK, your safety and enjoyment are our top priorities. We work hard to ensure all our clubs—whether standalone venues or connected to leisure centres—are safe, well-maintained and welcoming for everyone.

Below is a quick guide to how we keep you safe and what you can do to help.

Our full Health & Safety Policy can be viewed by clicking here.

How We Keep You Safe

Safe Facilities

  • Our courts, walkways and buildings are regularly inspected and maintained.
  • Risk assessments are carried out at every venue and reviewed throughout the year.
  • Damaged or unsafe courts are closed until fixed.

Trained Staff & First Aid

  • All clubs have access to First Aid supplies.
  • Leisure-centre–connected clubs have trained first aiders onsite.
  • Staff are trained to handle emergencies and follow clear procedures.

Accident Reporting

  • If an accident or injury occurs, our staff will record it in the club’s accident log.
  • Any issues with First Aid supplies are restocked immediately.

Fire & Emergency Safety

  • Fire exits, alarms and extinguishers are clearly marked and checked regularly.
  • In any emergency, please follow staff instructions and exit promptly and calmly.

Weather, Court Closures & Refunds

Player safety always comes first.

If courts become unsafe or unplayable due to weather, you will receive a full credit or refund.

Just contact your local Club Manager and we’ll sort it for you.

What Players Can Do to Stay Safe

1. Wear Appropriate Footwear

Non-marking sports shoes with good grip help prevent slips, especially on wet surfaces.

2. Take Care Entering & Leaving the Courts

Watch out for slippery spots or raised edges, especially after rain.

3. Report Any Issues

If you see something unsafe—broken glass, damaged nets, wet patches, faulty lighting—tell a member of staff straight away.

4. Respect the Facilities

Use equipment properly, keep walkways clear, and avoid entering any closed or blocked-off areas.

5. Weather Awareness

If the weather turns wild—heavy rain, strong winds or lightning—please stop playing straight away.

And don’t worry: if the British weather decides to show off again, your court will be fully refunded or credited.

(Think of it as the only time rain actually saves you money!)

6. Look After Your Belongings

Personal items are your responsibility while on site.

Our Commitment

We’re here to make padel safe, fun and accessible for everyone.

If you ever have concerns, questions, or spot something that needs attention, please speak to a staff member at your local club.
