The first major Padel centre in the North West is...
Liverpool, Wirral and north west padel

Jan 24, 2023

We are delighted to announce that our project at Port Sunlight Tennis Club on the Wirral has been successfully approved!

The potential future for this facility is to be a 5-court indoor centre which will be built from the ground up and will become one of the major indoor Padel centres in the UK. We are delighted to be opening such a major centre in the North- West as our many surveys have shown us this is a real area of interest for many padel lovers!

Located just 8 miles from Liverpool city centre and 14 miles from Chester this is a prime location on the Wirral!

We will start the project by installing 5 courts outdoors as we look to build interest in Padel in the region. After a successful launch we will begin working with the Council for the potential enclosure to create the indoor venue.

The indoor facility will boast a ceiling height of 10m+, a show court with extra space for top level matches, a premium retail facility and café!

Port Sunlight Tennis Club on the Wirral which falls under the Liverpool City region will be an excellent partner for bringing a major Padel facility to the area. We will form a close relationship with the existing tennis club members and with the excellent Port Sunlight tennis Committee. We really believe we will work fantastically alongside the tennis club and provide a premium rackets facility for the entire community!

We have the courts already on site and expect a May opening but full dates for the opening will be announced in due course, in the meantime, to sign up to our booking system and access the free 7 days padel HERE

‘’Port Sunlight Tennis Club are delighted to be helping to bring one of the fastest growing
sports in the world to the Northwest. We have built up a great relationship with PDL Padel
United and are really excited for the future of this project. ‘’
