This innovative project, first launched in this year, has already proven a huge hit, attracting thousands of people from across the region. Now, with more features, more partners, and more opportunities for the public to get involved, Plymouth’s summer of padel is only just beginning.
A Phenomenal Success in 2025
Last summer’s pop-up was nothing short of a smash hit:
- Court in almost constant use daily, 9am–9pm
- Hundreds of locals and visitors experiencing padel for the first time.
- BBC coverage, shining a national spotlight on the initiative
- 10 schools and home-ed groups introduced to the sport through dedicated sessions
The response was overwhelming, proving just how much appetite there is for accessible, affordable, and fun padel in Plymouth and indeed across all our venues nationwide.
