Pop-Up Padel Court Coming to Willesden Leisure Centre This Summer
Affordable Pay-and-Play Sessions from Late July!
Residents and sports enthusiasts in Willesden will soon have the opportunity to enjoy padel tennis locally, as a temporary pop-up court is set to open this summer.
Following challenges in relocating the originally planned padel courts, we have worked with local partners to deliver an interim solution for the community. A pop-up padel court will be installed within the athletics track area at Willesden Leisure Centre, on the car park side of the facility.
The court is expected to be available from late July and will remain in place until at least 30 September, providing several weeks of accessible play for local residents and visitors.
We are collaborating with Willesden Sports Centre to operate the facility on a pay-and-play basis, making it easy for both new and experienced players to book a session. The initiative aims to encourage greater participation in one of the UK’s fastest-growing sports while ensuring affordability.
To help make the sport more accessible, the pop-up court is expected to offer some of the most competitive pricing in London.
Further details regarding the official opening date, booking arrangements, and operating hours will be announced in the coming weeks.
