Acquiring the major stake in Go Padel UK starts a huge rollout across the UK, this is an exciting time not only for Padel United but for the UK. It’s great that we have some smaller venues getting built but with our business plan it’s about producing bigger indoor venues and really creating what we are all looking for ‘the padel boom’. Despite us looking for ‘big venues’ we also will be looking to create smaller outdoor venues where a bigger venue isn’t possible.
The idea for Padel United was born through the frustration of two brothers Markus & Rikard Hellqvist. It was almost impossible to find padel courts in Sweden when we began. A year later, the first hall in Flemingsberg was opened, which was the seed that today has grown to become Padel United, one of the largest players in the Nordic region and now the world.

We at Padel United think that Padel is the world’s best sport. Not just because it’s fun and because it’s very social. We love padel so everyone can play it. Young and old and regardless of whether it is the first time you play or if you have a big background in racket sports padel is for you. With us, everyone is equally welcome; we want to create a world-class padel experience – open to everyone.

After creating over 30 venues in the Nordic area and now our move into the UK market we are excited to re-produce our excellent structures we have already created. The UK is a very exciting market for us, acquiring Go Padel UK, Rich and his team gives us the perfect platform to bring Padel to all corners of the UK, alongside the UK rollout we are close to expanding in other regions such as, Spain, Germany, USA, Canada and Australia.

In time in the UK we will devise a membership structure where you can have access to all clubs throughout the UK, this is truly bringing together a national community at Padel United. We intend to continue the Go Padel theme and producing the best, junior and adult coaching academies, events and a soon to be released holiday programme for 2022.
